We made it! From Wednesday to Wednesday, we were able to encourage one another in our parenting journey, as the not-so-traditional school year began. Parents, give yourself a big pat on the back. We are so proud of you and we know God is going to continue to work in you and in your families each day of school year.

As a fun surprise...we thought it would be fun to send one family dinner! Watch the video to see how to enter! Ready, set, go!

At our church, we have a saying: WORSHIP OVER WORRY.

As parents, sometimes our worry tank feels like it's overflowing. Are our kids thriving? Are they making friends? Are they being a good friend? Are they going to pass that test? Are they making good choices? The list of worry-filled questions can be endless.

The strongest weapon against worry is worship. When we worship, we silence the worry. When we worship, we put God back in the position He belongs...first.

Take a moment today to listen to "The Blessing" covered by our Crossway Worship Team. We pray the Holy Spirit will meet you in a profound way as you let these words of worship fill your heart, fill your kitchen, fill your car, fill your family.

"May His favor be upon you and a thousand generations and your family and your children, and their children, and their children." The Blessing by Elevation Worship

According to the Barna Group, only 6% of adult Christians made their decision to follow God over the age of 18. That means 94% made decisions as children that follow with them throughout their life. Wow. That is encouraging. And scary. And then encouraging again. That means that there is no time like the present to be shepherding their hearts.

God has given us the responsibility to not only live out our faith in a genuine way in front of our kids, but to help foster conversations and environments that will help shape their own faith. Outside of what happens in our homes every day, one of the easiest ways to foster a love for God and a biblical world-view is by making Sunday worship a priority in your family schedule. What better time than to start today?

A new week awaits us and today we want you to rise to a challenge!

It's a challenge that will encourage YOU as you encourage your child's teacher(s).

Proverbs 11:25 tell us that, "A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed."

As Christian parents, we get our playbook from the Bible. God's word is true, trustworthy and meant to be lived out on a daily.

Take a listen to today's challenge. Rise to it. Put it into action. And text us back to let us know you did it!

Hey, parents! Did you know that you are the emotional thermostat in your home? Our kids are watching our cues, listening to our words and learning from our responses to challenges that may arise.

Today, we want to encourage you to celebrate the wins over the weekends. To set the emotional thermostat to JOY every weekend. Life will always be filled with unpredictables, unknowns, and hurdles to laptop glitches, wifi connections lost, and log-ins not working. Did you experience any of those this week with your kids ? ;-)

Take a moment to listen in on how to celebrate the wins and why it matters most with your kids.

It's Friday! The weekend is almost here. You can do it!

Here's a quick encouragement from Melissa. Let's run our parenting race and keep our eyes on Jesus!

Hebrews 12:1b "And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith."

Good morning parents!

Here's a quick prayer we wrote for you to pray throughout your day today. Also, scroll down and save the Scripture image as your phone wallpaper.

Take a moment to quiet your heart and pray this prayer out loud to the Lord:

Father, thank you that you care about every detail of my life.  Right now I give you my anxiety. I give you my fears and frustrations of the school year. I give you the questions I don't have answers to.  In return, please give me Your peace. Fill me to overflowing with your peace right now. Help me to demonstrate your peace to my children today and love my family well, as you have loved me well.

I ask this in the name of Jesus.

reminded to cast your cares on Him throughout the day.

We're so glad you are here for some encouragement during the first week of a not-so-traditional beginning of school. Here is a quick video message from Pastor Jon to start your day.

JOSHUA 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
